2025: A Year Where Qualfon’s Mission Came to Life

This article is a contribution from Roberto Sánchez Mejorada, Chief Mission Officer at Qualfon.

The year 2025 began with energy, purpose, and clarity that set the tone for everything that followed. It started in Cebu, a place deeply meaningful to our mission, where we experienced one of those defining moments of truth that stay with you.

There, nearly one thousand Mission Leaders connected across seven countries and came together for a Qualfon Summit filled with inspiration, vitality, and shared purpose. What stayed with me most was the energy: the joy of coming together, the alignment around where we are headed, and the deep conviction that we are not walking this journey alone. I can’t imagine a better place than Cebu to begin a year of transformation, adaptation, and care.

A defining milestone of 2025 was, without question, what we learned from our clients.

This year, we received Client Satisfaction Survey results indicating that 95% of our clients are satisfied/very satisfied with our services, 97% feel that we are knowledgeable/very knowledgeable about their business, and 95% would recommend us. Beyond the metrics themselves, what this represents is deeply meaningful: their trust. That trust energizes us and enables us to live our mission every day.

Serving our clients is not simply about delivery or performance. It is about being true strategic partners, aligned with their objectives and committed to supporting their organizational missions. When our clients succeed, the mission succeeds.

Each client relationship challenges us to grow, to improve, and to remain accountable. Every client makes us better, and that reality strengthens our commitment to serve with excellence, integrity, and purpose.

Another truly significant milestone was the development and execution of the Mission Leader recertification training for supervisors. It was a demanding process, thoughtfully designed and lived with full commitment. Every member of the faculty (operational team members who generously facilitated the sessions) gave their very best. The results speak for themselves: 10 courses evaluated, with an average score above 4.7 out of 5 from participating supervisors. That level of feedback is extraordinary. It reflects quality, consistency, and deep alignment with what we stand for.

The year also challenged us in moments of vulnerability. The earthquake and typhoon in Cebu deeply affected our community. Seeing team members and their families with severely damaged homes was painful. Yet once again, our mission showed up in very tangible ways: through solidarity, presence, and action. We did everything we could, especially for those most impacted, helping them repair their homes and begin rebuilding with dignity and hope.

From the perspective of community service, Plan 2040, now ten years since its launch, continues to accompany more than 2,000 children. One of the most meaningful developments this year was the addition of key partners who recognized the value of the effort: the methodology, the seriousness of the work, and the measurable results. Their partnership allows us to continue advancing together in the two communities that coexist within Cuatro Ciénegas and Colonia Independencia.

2025 was also a year of mission transformation. The work my team has led has been nothing short of remarkable. Each member of the team has greatly developed their programs, always focused on creating real value for our people. I am deeply grateful for their leadership and commitment.

Al Barrenechea has been instrumental in strengthening empowerment and elevating the Mission Leader role. Jason Skurupey ensures that our Mission360 model is actionable and tangible across our production floors and remote teams. George King leads the Care Coaches team with heart, caring for each of our employees and their families. Daisy Corocoto unlocks potential by leading our Life Goal initiative and Top Universities courses, offered to our employees at no cost. And last but not least, Aimee brings our mission to life through an internal communications program that keeps everyone informed and inspired, across the globe.

We closed the year with gratitude, and now we begin the next one with renewed strength, clarity, and hope, ready to continue advancing together in the fulfillment of our mission.
